Triplet Fawns, Stately Buckeye Tree Revisited

About a year ago, the first blog entry in Open Spaces, Natural Places was about the "Stately Buckeye Tree" on Paula Lane, just off Bodega Avenue, a little over a mile from downtown Petaluma heading west. Now, the tree is, once again, in all her splendor and will probably be this way for about a month. For slow drivers, walkers, dog walkers, joggers, cyclists, and even motorcyclists if they slow down a little, the tree is a beautiful natural sight.

That was to be my blog this week - revisit the Buckeye Tree and suggest - for jumpstarting peace in the soul, early morning, late afternoon, whenever you need it - visit Paula Lane off Bodega Avenue and enjoy. It's free.

Then, this morning, I heard from a resident, the latest additions to the Paula Lane wildlife have been seen. Triplet fawns with their doe. If fortunate, one traveling up or down Paula for the Buckeye Tree sighting may also add joy to peace in the soul if the fawns are spotted. Well, of course they are spotted, but the reader surely knows what I mean - if they are seen. It will be a scene of peace and joy. Again, free and compliments of Mother Nature and open space, natural places.
